Alana Kyriakakis practices in the area of general civil litigation with emphases in employment litigation, governmental liability and public employment litigation, civil rights litigation and constitutional law.
Ms. Kyriakakis is licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina. She is admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Georgia and the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the State and Superior Courts of Georgia and the courts of the State of South Carolina.
Ms. Kyriakakis earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2004 from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.A. in 1997 from the University of Oklahoma. During law school, Ms. Kyriakakis was the Student Works Editor for the South Carolina Law Review. She was also inducted into the Order of the Coif and Order of Wig and Robe. Ms. Kyriakakis authored the article Conner v. City of Forest Acres: The End of the At Will Employment Era?, 54 S.C. Law Rev. 1113 (2003).
Ms. Kyriakakis is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of South Carolina, the Augusta Bar Association and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Augusta Bar Association.
