Christopher A. Cosper practices in the area of general civil
litigation with an emphasis in commercial litigation, construction
litigation, class actions and medical malpractice. Chris is
licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina.
Chris earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and his B.S. in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. During law school, Chris served as the
Executive Notes Editor for the Georgia
Law Review and authored the article Rehabilitation of the Juror Rehabilitation
Doctrine, 37 Ga. L. Rev. 1471 (2003). He also served on
the Mock Trial Board, was awarded the Georgia Municipal Association Award
for Excellence in the Study of Municipal Corporation Law, and was
inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Following law school,
Chris completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable B. Avant Edenfield, United
States District Judge for the Southern District of Georgia.
Chris is married to
Elizabeth Cosper and they have two sons, Alex and Eli.
